As a hook into our poetry unit, the children created their own houses at home using cereal boxes. We will then safely burn the houses as part of a sensory poetry activity, encouraging the children to observe and capture what they can see, hear, smell and feel as the houses burn.

We are making hand puppets in DT. First, we made finger puppets which we will evaluate before designing our hand puppets based on our Great Fire of London story character.
