Dear Parents and Visitors,
It is a pleasure to welcome you to Fleet Infant School. As the new Headteacher, I feel incredibly proud to lead such a warm, vibrant and nurturing community. I hope this website gives you a sense of the energy, curiosity and joy that fill our school each day.
Fleet Infant School is a special place – a happy, thriving infant school on the edge of Fleet, surrounded by beautiful woodland that inspires much of our learning. Our children are enthusiastic, our staff are dedicated, and together we create an environment where every child is valued and encouraged to shine.

A little Year R welcome from FISA! We're so lucky to have such a wonderful Parent Association at Fleet Infant School! This morning, our lovely FISA team made and gifted a little something special for all our new Year R families. FISA does so much to support our school and bring our community together, and we're incredibly grateful for all the time, creativity and care that goes into it. Fancy getting involved? Whether you have lots of time or just a little, there are plenty of ways to get involved with FISA throughout the year. Every helping hand makes a difference, and it's a lovely way to meet other parents and be part of our school community. If you'd like to find out more, why not drop them an email?fisa.email@gmail.com A huge thank you to FISA, and a very warm welcome to all our new Year R families!

What a fantastic achievement! Huge congratulations to our very talented Ellie M for winning the Hart and Basingstoke food waste truck drawing competition! The competition was held to help promote the benefits of food waste recycling. We are so proud that Ellie's brilliant design will be displayed on the side of a local food waste collection truck. We can't wait to see it out and about across the Hart, Basingstoke & Dene area! Well done Ellie!

Say Hello to our Reading Tree! As part of the National Year of Reading, we've created a special outdoor reading space for our children to enjoy during playtime and lunchtime. Our Reading Tree is the perfect place to pause and enjoy a good book. Children can choose a story from the wheelbarrow library, settle onto a colourful beanbag or cushion beneath the leafy branches and enjoy some reading time with friends. With book covers hanging from the tree, it's a bright, inviting space that celebrates the joy of reading. We hope our Reading Tree inspires a love of books, sparks children's imaginations and encourages them to discover the pleasure of reading. We can't wait to see it being enjoyed!
At Fleet Infant School we have thought about the importance of our children being prepared and inspired for life in the modern world. To support this we have developed six core values.
