Our Year 2 children experienced history first-hand as our annual Great Fire of London house burning brought their learning to life.
The children watched as the flames spread from house to house, helping them to understand how quickly the fire could have travelled through the closely packed wooden buildings of London in 1666.
It was a memorable experience and a wonderful opportunity to connect the children's classroom learning with something they could see and experience for themselves.
