Our PE day is Tuesdays. Please ensure long hair is tied back and earrings are covered or removed before school.
Our Library day is Tuesday. Children are able to choose a book to bring home to share with you. Please return by the following Monday.
Spring Term First Half
Chinese New Year
We had a fantastic week learning about Chinese New Year. It started with a super workshop. We found out where China is in the world and looked at the Chinese flag. We found out how people celebrate Chinese New Year and had lots of fun learning a Chinese lion dance. Then we became a Chinese dragon and processed around the school hall with fans and parasols leading the way.
Tasting Chinese Foods
We enjoyed tasting some Chinese foods and ingredients. We were all very brave and some of us tasted things we hadn't tried before. We tasted rice, rice noodles, spring onions, fresh ginger, soy sauce, beansprouts and prawn crackers. We thought about whether we liked the foods, whether we didn't like them or if we weren't quite sure.
Chinese Lanterns
We made Chinese lanterns. We listened carefully to instructions to make sure we cut the card in the correct places and had fun decorating our lanterns with gold glitter.
Autumn Term First Half
The Gingerbread Man
The Gingerbread Man sent us a letter to tell us he had been exploring our school. We followed his clues to find him but we weren't quite quick enough to catch him but he very kindly left of some of his friends to eat!

Our first few weeks at school!
We have settled into school life really well! Here we are making friends, having lots of fun and learning.
